It has a lot of the qualities that I love about vintage lenses in the rendering, but with all the sharpness of a modern lens. I can't really see anything to criticize from the bokeh, which stays nice even when stopped down (you can see versions of this image at f/2, f/2.8, and f/4 in the image gallery here: bit.ly/1WvcddF. The flare here is an overlay that I developed for use in shots, as the sun was still almost vertical at this point. We staged this shot where they pulled the two Jeeps parallel to each other so that they could lean out their windows for the kiss. Every wedding photographer has their own "go-to" shots, and other unique opportunities will present themselves throughout the day, but I also like to get a sense of what is unique and special to the couple. In the interest of full disclosure, I added the walker with her dog for vidual interest from another photo I took a day or so later. It is definitely very interesting! It was like a scene straight out of Narnia. It was some serious work to get out in it to shoot, but this is one of the photos that I liked.
